Cristina + Nick's IACC Wedding | Rochester NY Wedding Photographer
Cristina & Nick, a golf-loving, high school friends, San Fransisco 49ers fan couple, had their lovely and emotional wedding ceremony at the St. Theodore church followed by a nice break to do some special photos in Mendon Ponds park, and capped the evening off with a fun filled wedding reception at the Italian American Community Center (IACC) in Rochester. There were some tremendous moments to document at this wedding, as well as a few cool portraits for fun.
My day started with documenting the ladies preparing at Cristina's parent's home and custom-made tank tops with quotes from Bridesmaids ;)
It was great to see Nick so moved when his bride-to-be walked around the corner. Many others were also moved to tears. Their love.. and really, the best word for it, adoration, for one another was so very apparent throughout the whole day.
Almost like she's saying "Kiss me!"
The groomsmen weren't very serious for this part...
.. but were able to hold it in for a few seconds ;)
We had time to set up and shoot a collodion wet plate (also known as a "tintype" or "aluminotype"), using the same method of photography used from ~1860-1890 right up until Kodak came onto the scene.
Cristina did warn Nick.. and that little spot of frosting on her lip resulted in a retaliatory smear ;)
They made up for it very quickly, and had a very affectionate first dance
Nick was ready to party!
Couldn't resist sneaking in a polaroid
I'm with you, little guy.. I love the Italian wedding cookie desserts, and couldn't wait for one too.
Celebratory cigars to wrap things up :)
Thank you Cristina and Nick for bringing me along your wonderful day and epic party. It was a pleasure to document it!
