Laura + Chris's 1000 Islands Wedding, September 2014 | Destination Wedding Photographer

Laura and Chris got married in the picturesque 1000 islands area of NY state, in the small town of Alexandria Bay, at the Bonnie Castle Resort. It was an honor to travel to this destination to document this sweet couple's wedding day. We started the day at the Captain Visger House bed and breakfast, where the ladies got ready, then Laura and Chris had their first look. We then headed by boat over to Heart Island to walk around the grounds of (and take photos at) Boldt Castle. We then headed back across the St Lawrence river to Bonnie Castle Resort, where we then had an outdoor ceremony with the river and Boldt castle in the background, followed by the reception inside.

The thousand islands area of the Saint Lawrence river makes an awesome backdrop for a bride and groom portrait. The wedding ceremony and reception site (Bonnie Castle) is on the opposite shore

I love shooting film, has such a unique look. Having a handsome couple makes it easy and fun to shoot.
