Lisa + Zach's Harro East Wedding | Rochester NY Wedding Photographer
Late last year, after a rainy, cold but successful engagement shoot in the Niagara Falls gorge, I told the story of how Lisa and Zach met. Fast forward to today, and it is apparent how much it means to each of them to be marrying the other. I just knew this wedding was going to be full of wonderful authentic moments, both heartfelt and exciting. Given ample time, we also made awesome portraits to go along with it. That there were two past brides and grooms of mine there was just a cherry on top.
Lisa was overwhelmed with joy walking down the aisle. Later, Zach was the same
The beautiful interior of St Boniface Church in the south wedge, a great place for a Catholic wedding in the city of Rochester.
Always my favorite moment of any wedding- I call it the "victory walk" and you can see the expressions of joy on both of their faces.
One of my favorite authentic-on-metal 1860's style collodion wet plate tintypes I've ever made. It'll be hard to hand this over to them.. but it will be their family heirloom.
Such a handsome crew...
Sometimes I do family portraits too
A nice polaroid / instant film photo of Lindsay and Matt, whose wedding I photographed several years ago.
Epic introductions
Liz and Kenny, ready to kill it on the dance floor!
Not to be outdone, Amanda and Matt delivering their own awesome intro
Roasting his older brother ;)
More polaroids
He's ready to party!
May all hugs from mom be as warm as this one.
John and Amanda like each other :)
It was an honor to document your amazing day!
