Chimney Bluffs with Joshua | Rochester NY Film Photographer
On Saturday, I took my son Joshua to hike and explore Chimney Bluffs, near Sodus NY. It is important to me (and my wife) to set aside time for me to go 1:1 with each of my sons. Sometimes I bring along my dad's old film camera-- the same camera I learned photography on-- and take a few photos. On this day I chose Kodak TMax 100 B&W film (although I normally shoot Tri-X 400) since it was midday and quite sunny.
While Joshua lamented beforehand we weren't going to Lasertron, Chuck-e-Cheese or the museum of play, he got into it quickly when he saw how real (and a little dangerous) it was. I am glad to have spent the time with him on an adventure outdoors.
Down to the beach, on the road that leads to nowhere
On the way home, we stopped at this diner in Williamson, NY for some ice cream.. even though it was only 40 degrees out ;)
