Rachel A's Senior Portraits, 28 Aug 12 | Rochester NY Senior Photos

Rachel's visiting NY for a week to enjoy a family vacation.. oh, and the wedding of her brother (who's wedding I'm photographing). She needs senior portraits.. wants something awesome.. so she and her mom drove up from their vacation cottage in Geneva, NY to meet with me. We had a blast wading in the creek (while the 4 other photographers there didn't dare touch the water) and doing generally awesome and unique photographic ninja tricks, above and beyond what your typical studio offers. We go all out at awelshphotography.com! We finished our session with Rachel showing off her madcrazy cheerleading skills. She is part of a national-champion-winning competitive cheer team (i.e. the kind you see on ESPN2), the Maryland Twisters F5. Some impressive moves indeed-- and it's not every day you can claim you're the national champ at something!

For 2012, the F5 Twisters got new uniforms, ones that don't show the midriff. Rachel was proud to show it off.

She was doing backflips like nobody's business.
