Seriously, I have the most awesome clients possible. April and Brendan have such a great group of friends and family, it makes my job really easy. It was fun to watch on facebook their anticipation for the wedding build as the day approached. Once finally here, they were just smiles, laughs and happy all day.
This wedding I was assisted by Kristina Juodyte (from photokisses.com). April and Brendan got ready at their respective parents' homes, followed by the rather warm ceremony at Community Chrisitan Church (where they met!), and reception at Casa Larga Vineyards.
A unique aspect of this wedding was there was a "best maid" (Brendan's long time friend) and "man of honor" (April's brother). The best man and maid of honor were of opposite gender, in case you're confused about the one guy or girl in the bridal party shots :)

April and her dad
April's dad had a very touching, thoughtful gift for his daughter. About 15 years ago, he started saving change specifically for her wedding. Here he is presenting a display of the 50 state quarters that he collected over this timeframe, as well as some $2 bills. That he was planning this and saving up for so long meant a lot... truly a loving sacrifice and thoughtful gift.

Hubba hubba
I posted a few days ago on
facebook that one of my favorite moments in every wedding is the "victory walk" by the couple. Always an authentic moment.
