Jennifer + Andrew Wedding, 6 Sep 09

Wrapping up my whirlwind weekend of photography, I shot the wedding of Jennifer and Andrew at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. What a tremendous location for photos, inside and out (I highly recommend it for brides if you have a smaller reception <150)... it's where I did part of the engagement shoot back in June. The couple wanted me to do the formal photos before the ceremony, and they were OK with seeing each other ahead of time, which we did in lieu of the usual getting ready kind of shots. The ceremony was immediately followed by the cocktails in the Mastodon exhibit (including some bones dug up in the Rochester area), then the reception on the 3rd floor.

The women got ready in a little conference room overlooking the lobby

With everyone present we headed over to do some portraits:

Andrew and his best man and brother Brian

Some time alone with just the couple

Some details..

Jennifer and her dad at the ceremony

Toasts:

Both toasts delivered some laughs

The Hora!

What better way to photograph the rings for two CPA's- accountants- getting married!

Then some dancing!

This couple was waltzing separately off the dance floor, rather romantic...

A different first dance song-- "Always" by Erasure, one of my favorite songs from the 90's.

Rapper's Delight starts playing. She grabs microphone. She starts rapping along with the whole song. How fun!

Gettin' grandma to dance too

Thanks Jennifer and Andrew, enjoy your honeymoon.
